Happy religious holiday celebrating the birth of an imaginary person!

We're at a family holiday function. Robin and I are both on laptops surfing facebook on opposite sides of the room being awesomely antisocial.

The Christmas package-opening extravaganza with no regard to what's what or what gift went to who was a smash.

The movie L'age d'or is very very strange and has some definately hilarious moments.

I'm back in CA! Have been since last Saturday.

The Friday before I left, Emo came over and made sugar cookies and potato-print wrapping paper with me, then we went to a nice low-key Christmas party. I stayed up late when I got home transfering music to my laptop, then (I thought) set my alarms (3) and went to bed. At 12:30 I sat bolt upright, having slept through all three alarms. Flight leaves at 2. Takes half an hour to get to the airport. Haven't packed. Won't take your bags unless you get there forty-five minutes before the flight leaves. As I threw things into my packed bag and dialed the cab company, needless to say I was swearing like a sailor. Made my flight but am going to have some hefty fines at the library.

Yesterday I attempted and failed mightily at constructing my own planner. I thought the page count was for the number of double-sided pages, like they do in art pads, but no, it was single-sided pages, so there weren't enough pages and I had to go from 2 days to a page, to 3 days to a page, to 6 days to a page. I was very very frustrated.

I and my wallet should be banned from the bead store.

So: I am graduating at the end of Winter Quarter! This means next quarter is the last quarter I'll be in Bellingham...sacre bleu!

So last night I made dinner (stir fry and asian noodles YUMMY) and then fell asleep at 7. I woke up at 1:45, said, "Nuh uh I don't think so" and went back to sleep until my alarm at 9:45 this morning. That means I slept 15 hours last night. Am I finally making up my sleep deficit from the last 9 weeks?!

Eew, these religious people came to our apartment and gave Aimee (also an atheist) a brochure for their church, whose motto is "Winning the lost at any cost." Thankfully I didn't talk to them.

This weekend I went to 2 concerts! Jason Webley and Ratatat. I got to Ratatat pretty early, so I was near the stage, which was fun for the two openers (btw, if you haven't heard of them, check out Aqueduct, they were good and I got their CD), but when Ratatat came on everyone squished to the front and attempted to dance, which left me fearing for my life. I had absolutely no control over which way I moved, and thought I was going to fall a couple times--I can see now how people get trampled to death. Jason Webley was WAY fun, as per usual, and I went with other people who wanted to dance around too so it was awesome.

I really wanted a good burrito yesterday, so I went to this place Aimee recommended but was disappointed. So I still need to find a really good burrito place!

Damn it, I have all this leftover food but it all looks really really unappetizing, so much so that although I've taken this leftover pasta to school for lunch today and yesterday I couldn't bring myself to eat it and got by on just an apple. It was good when I made it, but now it seems gross. What am I supposed to do about that?!
